Start Date January 18, 2022 and serve for a 12-month term

Position Title:            Water Education Development Coordinator
Location: James River Basin Partnership office, Springfield, MO.
Position Description:  This AmeriCorps VISTA member will be sponsored and supervised by the James River Basin Partnership and Missouri Smallflows Organization. As an AmeriCorps member, you will help:
  1. Build the capacity of James River Basin Partnership outreach programs to provide water quality education to Title One schools and rural communities throughout the James River watershed;
  2. Work with James River Basin Partnership staff and local contacts to increase capacity for litter cleanups and place-based learning opportunities for low-income youth;
  3. Work in partnership with the Missouri Smallflows Organization to build an outreach program to provide career education to Title One schools and rural communities throughout the James River watershed.  Build an outreach program to provide homeowner education pertaining to onsite wastewater treatment systems.
