MSO Members and Supporters,
MSO has been watching HB 2083 as it moves in the Missouri House. This bill would update the following items in our statute:
1. Phasing out of percolation testing by January 1, 2025. Soil morphology evaluations will be the only accepted method after this date.
2. Allowing the Health Department to change permit fees to "reasonable fees" that will not exceed the "cost and expense of administering the provisions of sections 701.025 to 701.059."
The bill has been referred to the Consent and House Procedure Committee. We will keep you posted as the bill continues to move.
